Dear Families,
We are writing to make you aware of the ongoing national industrial action which is due to commence this Wednesday, 14th October. There will be a picket outside Cheeverstown campus only from 8am to 6pm approximately. There is a further planned national industrial action planned for 21stOctober.
Local management are working closely with trade unions to co-ordinate industrial action and minimise impact to the people we support. Please be assured that the wellbeing of the people we support remains our highest priority.
We are committed to ensuring that safe staffing levels are maintained to support the delivery of safe and effective care throughout this period. We would also like to reassure you that families and visitors remain welcome to visit as usual during this period.
While we anticipate that some aspects of our services may be affected, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and respond to any changes as they arise.
Please be assured that our teams remain focused on providing the support and reassurance, while continuing to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of the people we support.

Important Communication for Families of Residents supported by Cheeverstown
As part of the current national industrial action, Cheeverstown has been notified of a withdrawal of labour, which will impact our New Directions services on 14th & 21st October.
On the 16 of September, members of Seetec alongside Cheeverstown staff and regular volunteers came together as a team to begin work on an exciting garden renovation project at a new Cheeverstown property in Firhouse.
