Dermot O’Malley holds over thirty years’ experience in Human Resources roles spanning corporate office and local unit level; public and private entity; and union and non-unionised environments. Dermot has held a range of HR Managerial positions in a range of organisations including Diageo, Henkel, INBSand the Central Bank of Ireland, Civil Service, R.T.E.
As a seasoned HR Senior Leader, Dermot has a wealth of experience across change management, employee engagement and organisation development. Dermot has excelled in devising innovative solutions for performance management, and has a proven track record of engaging with both individuals and teams to develop strategies that have delivered successful and sustainable results.
Dermot joined Cheeverstown in March 2021, and is committed to ensuring the Human Resources function supports our Strategic Priorities through Staff empowerment, performance and teamwork.
Dermot is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and a Member of the Irish Institute of Training and Development (MIITD). Dermot has a Master of Business Studies(MBS) Degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) Degree from University College Dublin. Dermot’s personal interests are music, sport - GAA, football, rugby - and theatre; and is married with three children.
