The lead Accreditor Ms Epp O'Neill, in announcing the accreditation award praised the efforts of Cheeverstown noting:

"Cheeverstown demonstrated a huge commitment to the process and the people they support".

The Council had a lot of positive comments about the organisation
some of which are highlighted below:

''Huge commitment to people" "Cheeverstown supports and staff are very passionate". "There is a commitment to making changes as evident in the manner feedback was received". "Great team work is evident". "Inspired by the unity of the organisation". "Attitude is very good".

The Accreditation term accompanied with one condition relating to the completion of a major emergency evacuation plan which is now finalised.
This condition was fulfilled in March 2008.
