People are supported to achieve their Personal Outcomes in accordance with their stated preferences and views within the Person Centred planning process. The service also supports people to remain connected to their families and develop community relationships.

Within Cheeverstown Centre in Templeogue there are 14 homes which provide adult residential services. Supports are provided to individuals to ensure participation in daily community life.


Community Group Homes

Outside of the Centre, Cheeverstown have 15 houses located throughout the community as part of it's Community Group Homes. This service encourages and supports service users to actively participate in the local community, facilitating independence, self advocacy and community integration in keeping with choice and preferences of the individual. The service supports people allowing them to remain closely connected to their families and develop community relationships.


Adult Respite Services

We offer a flexible and responsive respite service to our adult service users who attend one of our services during the day and live at home with their families. This service allows the individual to develop their social activities, to learn some new skills in a different location and to experience the opportunity to live away from the family home. This service is provided in two locations, one within Cheeverstown Centre in Templeogue and the other in a community setting in Firhouse.

...are situated within Cheeverstown Centre, and offer a variety of structured day programmes and activities based on the needs and interests of the people using them. People using these day services live in Cheeverstown residential services or at home. The programmes and activities are structured to promote community participation. These services operate from Monday to Friday.

Cheever Enterprise, Training and Employment Centre

...is a Quality Accredited Rehabilitative Training Service based in Airton Road, Tallaght. Training is provided using Training Programme Specifications that are created through input from service users, families, staff and HSE guidance officers. There is also a Job Club which allows participants who may not attend on a full time basis a chance to meet each other and discuss relevant work related issues.

Cheeverstown House Employment Support Services (CHESS)

...currently provides support to service users based in Airton Road and in our sheltered occupational services in Broomhill, also in Tallaght. CHESS provides support to service uses in community based educational, social and leisure activities.

Social Educational and Recreational Choices Cheeverstown House (SEARCCH)

...is based in the Village Green in Tallaght which provides community based programmes to service users with multiple disabilities and enhanced needs who have chosen not to follow the employment route. Emphasis is placed on sourcing and providing social, educational and recreational choices for our service users.

Cheever Enterprises

...is based in Broomhill Drive, Tallaght, Dublin 24. The primary activity of Cheever Enterprises is sheltered occupational services including contract sheltered work activity. The majority of business comes from firms in the locality, who also provide employment opportunity for service users.
