Webinar – Supporting People with a disability to make an informed decision about COVID-19 Vaccination – Friday 26th March at 1:00pm

For the attention of families of people who attend Adult Day Services at Cheeverstown.

The HSE National Disability Services would like to invite family members/carers of individuals with a disability who attend Adult Disability Day Services to join a special Webinar this Friday 26th March at 1:00pm – 2:00pm. The COVID-19 vaccination will be made available to all individuals who attend Adult Disability Day Services. All service users will receive information about their vaccination in the coming weeks.
 
As per the Assisted Decision Making Act, it is no longer ok for anyone other than the person receiving a treatment to give consent. The purpose of this Webinar is to help family members/carers to provide information to their loved one and to support them to make an informed decision regarding the COVID-19 vaccination.

Staff Support Video

Cheeverstown has created a short 30 minute video for all staff about managing their own wellbeing and mental health during this very difficult time. There are links to further supports at the end of the video clip including accessing the employee assist programme, the dedicated HSE support line and details about how to access support from psychology services in Cheeverstown.
